Home Care

Mille Lacs Health System Home Care is a Medicare Certified program that helps clients safely remain at home while managing an illness, injury, or health condition, while promoting independence and comfort. Our team works closely with the client’s physician, family, and available resources to ensure you or your loved one has the best possible care for your unique situation. Who is eligible?

All Home Care Services must be ordered and approved by the client’s physician to initiate and continue care. Home Care works with clients of all ages who live within a 40 mi. radius of Onamia, MN.

Our Home Care works with many insurances and payors. Home Care benefits vary, based on plans and payors. This will be discussed in further detail when the referral is received.

Based on needs and physician orders, we offer a wide range of services, including:

  • Skilled Nursing Services 
  • Physical/Occupational and Speech Therapy
  • Medical Social Worker
  • Home Health Aide
  • Homemaking Services
  • Respite Services

  • Wound V.A.C. therapy
  • Tube feedings
  • Disease management

  • Physical Therapy, in-home after surgery, until you are able to get to outpatient PT yourself
