New Retail Pharmacies to Better Serve Your Healthcare Needs
The right care for you. Right by you.
Mille Lacs Health System now has retail pharmacies to better meet the needs of the communities we serve. We do more than fill medications; we are committed to helping residents and visitors maintain their optimal health. Our skilled teams personalize care and take an active approach to help people manage their health.
As part of your Mille Lacs Health System healthcare team, pharmacists can access your health history and review prescription updates without a separate provider check-in. Your pharmacy team also looks for potential medication interactions to help ensure that you are taking the correct dose.
Both facilities are staffed by experienced clinical pharmacists who fill prescriptions in a timely manner, answer questions and offer advice on your medication regimen.
All pharmacists have Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. Even more than knowledge, our pharmacy teams take time to get to know you to provide the personalized care you deserve.

Our teams package your meds together monthly to eliminate the need for separate refill requests. When you are enrolled in Sync My Meds, you receive calls or text messages reminding you to pick up your prescriptions. We can tailor refill dates to your preference (the first day of the month, for example, or around payday). This convenient, easy tool can also help remind you to take your medications.
This service is delivered via a scheduled one-to-one meeting with a pharmacist to review medication regimens and help minimize your costs. The program helps ensure that your medications are working properly to improve your health. Some restrictions may apply.
Our pharmacy team will work with you, your provider and your insurance company to help ensure that your medications are as affordable as possible. Please reach out to our knowledgeable staff about financial assistance options from drug manufacturers, foundations related to your medical condition and other sources.
To learn about your prescription drug coverage and any applicable copays, please contact your insurance provider.
To help you save money, we will substitute less-expensive, FDA-approved generic medication when possible. This substitution is made only if your medication is safely interchangeable with — and equal to — the brand name medication prescribed by your provider. If you prefer a brand name, please specify that when you order your medication.
We accept all forms of payment for copays.
Please call the pharmacist at either location to transfer prescriptions from your current pharmacy.
It’s always a good idea to maintain a complete and accurate list of all medications you currently take. This should be shared with your pharmacist, provider and any specialists you see. Your care team will then have a complete picture of all medications you take to help avoid harmful drug interactions.
Include on your list:
Prescription medications.
Frequently taken over-the-counter medications such as pain relievers, antacids, and cold medicines. Also write down the dosage, such as 320 mg or 500 mg, and how frequently you take them.
Dietary supplements such as vitamins and herbal supplements.
Topical medicines like creams and ointments.
Any allergies you may have.
This list gives your care team a clearer, more well-rounded idea of how you are managing your health.
