Mille Lacs Health System Welcomes Two New Providers

Mille Lacs Health System is pleased to welcome two new providers, Nash Gleason, PA-C, and Shanon Caillier, PMHNP-BC, who bring extensive expertise and a strong commitment to patient care. Their focus on accessibility, education, and comprehensive health services makes them valuable additions to the team.
Nash Gleason, PA-C, recently earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from St. Catherine University and is eager to collaborate with patients to promote better health outcomes. His approach emphasizes patient education and empowerment, ensuring individuals feel informed and engaged in their healthcare decisions.
A unique aspect of Nash’s practice is his fluency in sign language, which enhances communication and accessibility for patients who are deaf or hard of hearing. This skill aligns with Mille Lacs Health System’s commitment to accessibility and comprehensive care for all members of the community.
Outside of work, Nash enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly fishing on the lakes and mountain biking.
The MLHS Behavioral Health team is also excited to welcome Shanon Caillier, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing holistic mental health services. Shanon specializes in behavioral health assessments and medication management for patients of all ages, including children as young as four years old.
With a diverse background in medical-surgical care, emergency medicine, and patient education, Shanon brings a wealth of experience to her practice. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University and is committed to creating a relaxed and comfortable treatment environment where patients feel safe, supported, and heard.
Although based in Minnesota, Shanon offers virtual consultations from MLHS clinic exam rooms, ensuring patients have convenient access to high-quality psychiatric care. Her approach underscores MLHS’s mission to provide accessible and effective healthcare solutions to the community.
The addition of Nash Gleason and Shanon Caillier reflects MLHS’s ongoing commitment to expanding services and meeting the diverse needs of its patients. Their expertise, compassionate care, and dedication to accessibility will enhance healthcare experiences for the Mille Lacs community.
