Mille Lacs Health System Voted “Best Hospital”

Readers of the Union-Times and Town & Country newspapers serving the communities of Milaca and Princeton, Minnesota voted Mille Lacs Health System the “Best Hospital” in their just-released 2022 survey. This honor was awarded to Mille Lacs Health System for the first time in the survey’s nine-year history.  Print and online readers were encouraged to cast their votes for the “Best of the Best” in a number of medical categories including best overall hospital. The results of the entire survey will be published in a special edition of Town & Country newspaper on July 17, 2022.

Our $30 million dollar investment in expansion and renovation of our hospital in Onamia is our commitment to serve central Minnesota with even more state-of-the-art healthcare services.”

Mille Lacs Health System will open a new Family Medical Clinic in Milaca on the former site of M Health Fairview Clinic on 10th Street NW in late 2022. The newly renovated facility will include clinical appointments with providers, a laboratory for blood work, nurse injections, blood pressure checks, immunizations, and radiology.  The Milaca location will be fully staffed by an experienced team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with the possibility of specialists being offered in the future. Chiropractor Tony Hass, D.C., and Physical Therapist, Chad Barthelemy will re-locate from their current 5th Street SE location to the new facility.
