Home Care receives Honors

Mille Lacs Health System Home Care has been named a 2015 HHCAHPS Honors recipient by Deyta Analytics, a division of HEALTHCAREfirst. HHCAHPS Honors is a prestigious award recognizing home health agencies that continuously provide quality care as measured from the patient’s point of view.

Deyta Analytics used the Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) survey results from partnering home health agencies contained in its HHCAHPS database. Performance was evaluated on a set of 19 satisfaction indicator measures. HHCAHPS Honors recipients are those agencies scoring above the Deyta National Average on at least eighty-five percent of the evaluated questions.

“We are truly privileged to be given  this award,” said Nicole Narveson, R.N. and manager of the Hospice/Home Care Department at MLHS. “It is a direct reflection of the quality of care provided to our clients.  Our staff strives to meet the needs of each individual and this award confirms that we do make a difference each and every day.”

MLHS COO Kim Kucera adds, “This service is vital to so many in the communities we serve. It allows people to stay in their homes with dignity and care. This standard of excellence for patient experience is something we very proud of.”

“We are honored to be partnered with these top performers who are dedicated to quality patient care,” said Bobby Robertson, President and CEO of HEALTHCAREfirst.
